#8 Moreré Beach, Ihla de Boipeda
The Island of de Boipeba off the northeast coast of Brazil is itself heaven on earth, and its coral reefs are a veritable paradise. The island boasts a coastline of more than 20 km (12 miles) of the most beautiful, largely deserted beaches fringed with palm trees, with crystal clear water constantly lapping up over the untouched coral reefs onto the beach. This is a brilliant place to snorkel since you can literally walk into the sea from the beach and straight to the reef that is teaming with fish. There are also lots of natural pools along the reef that are great for paddling at low tide.
