#8 Sea Cucumber
Strange looking, worm-like creatures, sea cucumber floats in the seas of Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands in the Pacific near the equator, where nuclear bomb tests were once carried out, and in various coral reefs in other parts of the world’s oceans. Quite simple animals, sea cucumber are known to grow to about 2 m or 6.5 ft, feeding on very basic stuff including algae, tiny aquatic animals and ever waste that they find deep in the sea. The way they survive nutritionally is similar to the way worms in the soil recycle their food for bacteria. In spite of their name, not all sea cucumber are green.
